Best Use: Durable & Packable Raingear
When it comes to making updates, changes, and improvements to products with legendary performance, we don’t take it lightly. The Yukon Rain Gear has been the heavy-duty work horse of our waterproof line-up since the beginning of KUIU.
The most significant improvement to the new Yukon TR is the updated Torain Waterproof System. It features a new membrane with improved waterproofness and vapor permeability across all temperature ranges. Regardless of the outside temperature, if you’re building a sweat while hiking, or if you’re sitting stationary, it allows vapor to escape so you don’t get soaked from the inside.
The Torain System also features a revolutionary seam tape technology that not only keeps water from seeping through, but it also has unmatched hydrolysis resistance so sweat and oils will have no effect on garment longevity.
Yukon TR’s 3-layer Primeflex fabric beads water and resists saturation thanks to the K-DWR water resistant treatment. The spandex-free 4-way stretch fabric takes on very little moisture and dries quickly after extreme use.
For added durability, a densely woven 4-layer fabric is leveraged across the high-contact areas—the seat, knees, and inner cuff. This allows you to go sit, kneel, or bust through brush without worrying about snagging, puncturing, or ripping your gear.
The lower leg features a new zipper guard that shields the zipper from abrasion, brush, and mud, ultimately adding longevity and durability to the life of the rain pant. For added durability, improved longevity, and to trim weight it’s designed with minimal seams wherever possible.
The result is a rain gear built for the toughest conditions you’ll ever experience on a hunt, with the durability to handle the thickest brush, while still retaining stretch and comfort for nonbinding movement.

Best Use: Active Cold Conditions
The Primaloft® insulation layer in the palm assures warmth even when the temperatures drop. And when the weather turns nasty and wet, the revolutionary HDry® membrane provides complete waterproof and windproof protection, while the wool-blend liner provides next to skin comfort—ensuring your hands stay warm and dry.
Best For: Ultralight waterproof glove
KUIU’s first uninsulated 100% waterproof glove—rain gear for your hands. Built with the latest construction technology for outstanding protection, stretch fit, and ultralight weight. HDry® waterproof membrane technology and a direct-fit fully bonded liner deliver performance that far exceeds the weight. Like our Yukon rain gear, the glove’s Primeflex® face fabric is durable for its weight, takes on very little moisture, and dries quickly.
Unlike typical waterproof membranes that hang loosely under the outer shell (allowing water to penetrate and saturate the space between layers, creating vapor lock and killing breathability), the HDry® membrane is laminated directly to the inside of the outer shell. Water cannot pass through seams or the face fabric, so the interior stays dry and breathable.
The Yukon Hardshell Glove is best in mild to cold conditions when an insulated glove is too warm but you still need full waterproof protection. The mid-length gauntlet cuff can be worn under or over a rain gear sleeve. A must-have for backpack hunters, it also crosses over into waterfowl as a decoy glove and packable shell when the weather turns.
Best Use: All Conditions

Updated features also include a new perforated bonding layer for enhanced lower-gaiter breathability, allowing vapor to escape during extended wear, and an improved over-boot patterning for an optimal fit with hunting and mountaineering boots.
